Energy Access System (EASy) Online

New User Registration Form

To enroll in NIPSCO's EASy online services, follow the instructions below:

  1. Please read the Acknowedgement of Responsibility section and the linked Terms of Use.
  2. Please fill out the Company Information and Designated Security Contact sections.
  3. Please print out this form.
  4. Make sure each section is complete.
  5. Please have the appropriate individuals sign the form and return it to NIPSCO by faxing it to Gas Control Coordinators on our Operations page.
  6. Upon acceptance by NIPSCO, you will be notified via Federal Express of your USER ID and password for access to EASy Online.
  7. Your Designated Security Contact person will then have authority to establish other USER IDs for your company's use (subject to approval of such USER IDs by NIPSCO).

BY SIGNING THIS FORM THE COMPANY DESIGNATED BELOW IS AGREEING ON BEHALF OF ITSELF AND ITS EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS USING EASY ON-LINE TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS. The following terms and conditions apply to the Company designated below (the "Company") and each employee or agent to whom it issues a USER ID.

Acknowledgement of Responsibility

Your USER ID and password provide you the ability to use NIPSCO's EASy (Energy Access System) On-line services. It is extremely important that you are aware of your responsibilities regarding your access to EASy On-line and regarding the access, use, and disclosure of Confidential Infomation.

You acknowledge that information furnished via the EASy On-line service ("Data") constitutes valuable property of NIPSCO and/or other information providers who are the source of such Data. You acknowledge that the Data constitutes confidential information of NIPSCO or third parties from whom NIPSCO has acquired rights and is considered to be "Confidential Information" under this Agreement. "Confidential Information" shall also include all information related to methods, techniques, and documentation relating to EASy On-line. This Agreement transfers no title or right to the Confidential Information other than the right to use the Data as expressly provided herein. All Confidential Information is proprietary and is restricted from redistribution pursuant to the terms of this Agreement; provided that you may use Data from your customers and companies for whom you are an agent for your own business purposes. You may only use Confidential Information for your own internal business purposes, and may not reproduce, disclose, or otherwise make any Confidential Information available to any other company, corporation, or individual.

Each USER ID and password is personal and confidential and is intended for use only by the individual to whom it is assigned. Your USER ID and password identify yourself, your company, and functions related to EASy On-line. You are not allowed to disclose your USER ID and password to anyone or permit other individuals to use your password (including colleagues at your company). Your USER ID and password uniquely identify you to EASy On-line. You will be held responsible for any use or security breach traceable to your USER ID. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL NIPSCO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR MISUSE OF YOUR USER ID OR PASSWORD.

You may access only Data for which you have specific authorization. You may not access Data of other subsidiaries, affiliates, or companies for whom you have an agency relationship unless proper authorization has been provided to and accepted by NIPSCO.

NIPSCO may suspend or terminate any USER ID without notice for any reason, including breach of this Agreement, any failure to meet an obligation owed to NIPSCO, or for any improper, abusive, or illegal use of the EASy On-line services or website. If your USER ID is suspended, you must contact us to request reinstatement of your USER ID. IN NO EVENT SHALL NIPSCO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE EASY ON-LINE SERVICES OR WEBSITE.

In addition to the specific terms set forth in this section, all items identified in NIPSCO's Terms of Use (linked hereto and incorporated herein), apply to your use of the EASy On-line services and website. By signing this User Registration Form, you signify that you have read NIPSCO's current Terms of Use and agree to abide by such Terms of Use as they may be modified without notice from time to time. You agree to periodically check NIPSCO's website for revisions to such Terms of Use (at www.nipsco.com/terms.htm).

The Company shall be responsible for all USER ID's assigned to its employees or agents. The Company agrees to advise each person to whom a USER ID is issued by the Designated Security Contact of the terms of this Agreement and to obtain such person's agreement to such terms. The Company, through its Designated Security Contact, shall be required to deactivate a USER ID that is no longer authorized to access Data, such as when an employee's employment is terminated. NIPSCO SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY FAILURE TO DEACTIVATE A USER ID OR PASSWORD.
